Nanotechnology is the science of materials at the nanoscale. When this science is combined with bioengineering and neuroscience, it can turn basic science into novel materials and devices for treating and monitoring neurological diseases that are pathological.
Scientists can observe how human neural circuits function in real time by taking pictures of the brain using functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
Acellular synthetic polymeric brain implants that deliver drugs to the central nervous system have been developed using nanotechnology. Over several weeks or months, the method delivers drugs via degradation or diffusion.
The formation, growth, and evolution of the brain are described in developmental neuroscience. The study of the brain’s creation and control of thought, language, problem-solving, and memory is known as cognitive neuroscience. The study of the genes, proteins, and other molecules that control how neurons function is known as molecular and cellular neuroscience.
The following are some methods that can be used to study the human brain:

Photon migration tomography,

functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI),

electroencephalography (EEG),

magnetoencephalography (MEG),

and Magnetic stimulation of the brain
